Overview:
The 4Q Consulting website was built on a WordPress CMS; one of the key challenges with WordPress is security.

Objective/Challenges Faced:
Due to the lack of updates, the site was breached and “This site may be hacked” message was displayed on Google Search.

Results/Conclusion:
Luckily, we had a backup of the original site on our server. We were able to reload the backup files (WP PHP, MSQL) and restore the original website.

How to Move a WordPress Website to a New Hosting Package:
-Download the wp-content folder to your computer
-Replace the contents of the existing wp-content folder in your new hosting account
-With phpMyadmin, create a backup of your database as a SQL file
-Upload the SQL file you saved into the _db_backups folder
-Modify the connection string in the editing window

Future Plans:
The 4Q site should consistently be updated to prevent security breaches. We also installed the GoDaddy SiteLock Malware Scanner–SiteLock protects your web investment, keeping you and your customers safe from hackers and other online threats.
